Meet The Team

Danny founded Ediston in 2004. He is responsible for strategy, deal origination and business growth. Prior to founding Ediston, Danny was Investment Director at Standard Life Investments where he managed £2bn of UK real estate assets across three funds for corporate and retail clients.

Andy joined Ediston in 2004 and was appointed Chairman in 2017. He is responsible for delivering development projects across the UK. Prior to joining Ediston, Andy held development director positions at CALA Properties and AWG Developments and was a Development Manager at Standard Life Investments for 10 years.

Rankin is responsible for fund administration & structuring, accounting, taxation, treasury and performance analysis. Rankin joined Ediston in 2007 from Waterfront Edinburgh Limited where he was Deputy Chief Executive. Prior to that he was at Standard Life Investments where he managed the finance team responsible for £6bn of real estate assets.

Gregg is responsible for accounting, finance and compliance. He joined Ediston in 2023 and has been a Chartered Accountant since 2005. Since qualifying, Gregg has worked in the real estate sector, initially for a private investment company before moving to Scottish Widows Investment Partnership in 2012 prior to its acquisition by Aberdeen Asset Management and subsequent merger to become abrdn.

Kaisa is responsible for supporting the finance team by ensuring accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions. Kaisa joined Ediston in 2021 from Holiday Inn Express where she had responsibility for budget preparation, performance monitoring and reporting.

Ross is responsible for sourcing and delivering commercial property development across the UK. Ross is an experienced developer having worked at Robertson Group, Valad Property Group and MacDonald Estates.

Julie is responsible for asset management. She joined Ediston in 2022 from abrdn (formerly Standard Life Investments) where she spent over thirty years dealing with sales, acquisitions and active asset management. Latterly Julie concentrated on predominately retail assets including retail parks, shopping centres and high street shops.

Neal is responsible for Ediston’s residential business. He is an experienced development manager with expertise in both commercial and residential projects. Neal joined Ediston in 2014 having held development roles in both private consulting and main contracting.

Mark works for the residential business and is responsible for cost management, reporting and the procurement of the supply chain. He works closely with the sales and production team to ensure delivery of live and future projects. Mark joined Ediston from Avant Homes Scotland where he led the commercial department and was part of the senior management team. He has worked at Taylor Wimpey, Miller Homes and Robertson Homes.

Hayley works with the residential team to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively, co-ordinating the sales and marketing activities. Hayley has experience of marketing, having worked across several industries in Australia. She joined Ediston in 2017 from HCP Social Infrastructure, where she held the role of Project Co-ordinator.

Anna works with the residential sales and marketing team to support the delivery of marketing initiatives and sales activities across the business. She has a background in Business Management and gained marketing experience through previous internships, developing strong organisational skills and an interest in digital marketing. Anna supports the site sales team, helping to co-ordinate communications and build an understanding of customer relationships, while bringing a creative and detail-oriented approach to her role.

Joe has over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, progressing from a joinery background into senior construction management roles. He joined Ediston in 2025, bringing extensive experience from CALA Homes and Robertson Group. Joe is responsible for delivering residential projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard, with a strong focus on quality, programme and successful project delivery.
